Studio S Broadway History
Studio S Broadway was founded in 1979 by Barbara and Stan Silverstein. Barbara was a known professional dancer and choreographer in the Bay Area. Their 3 children (professional dancers, singers, actors and gymnasts) Pam, Debbie and Shari began teaching with six students and 3 classes. With their passion and drive, the studio now has hundreds of students over 35 years later with many happy dancers. Studio S Broadway was started with the vision of creating an environment where all dancers have an opportunity to grow and flourish.
Many of the Studio S Broadway students have gone on to further their dance careers in movies, commercials, videos, Broadway, Foley Artists, models, singers, professional cheerleaders, dance teachers and owners.
Their daughter Shari (Silverstein) McLeod is the owner, director and choreographer of the studio which includes the professional Studio S Broadway Entertainment Company.
